Original Temporary Station Signs
These were in use from the 1930s when a station name change. Other uses were to paste these printed signs onto walls or builders shuttering when station signs were being replaced or were obscured during works to the station.
White on Blue Paper Sign
Overall framed dimensions 24 inch by 8 inch. (60cm x 20cm).
Framing is made up from a 2 inch surrounding window mount and a 1 inch width satin black frame with clear glass. The framing is carried out to conservation standards to help retain the authenticity of the blind while retaining its value.
All Blinds sold by London Bus Blinds are guaranteed authentic. Beware of the current trend towards reproductions and fakes which are digitally reproduced. Most early blinds were screen printed
